Detail: In a very short story, for the past two or three years I usually buy stuffs online (especially electronic gadgets). Each time I choose free shipping method, it has to pass through the nearest post office. But before the post office release my stuff, I have to bribe to two different departments. I call it bribe because they have no genuine name for it and no receipt or any official document given for this. They always say it's a compulsory fee (N500 for one department) and the other department can be N500 or lesser. If I refuse to pay this, then I'M not ready to receive me parcel or according to one of them secretly said they can even plan with the police station beside their office, and arrest me that I'm carrying stolen goods or am doing yahoo-yahoo. As we all know, any matter going to the police, guilty or no guilty, you must vomit something. I 'm not happy each time i do this, bu I don't know how to stop this.

Detail: Because of ongoing construction on the Ago Palace Way road in Okota, a one-way bypass was created connecting Ali Dada road to Ago road. Those of us living on Ali-Dada had been taking that bypass instead of driving further down to turn into Ago. For several months, we had no problems. All of a sudden, that morning, Police and LASTMAdescended on my car with no warnings. They harassed me. I asked them to show me the sign that says 'no throughfare' but they told me to shut up. My tires were deflated and my car towed to their office. There's almost nothing they didn't threaten me with. They said they would lock me up and charge me to court unless I gave them a whopping 12,000 naira! After several hours wasted and cancelled appointments, I gave in. May I also state that there were several of us living on Ali Dada road that they did this too who had been passing there 2 or 3 times a day. This is very unfair.

Detail: This has been happening times without number, the police from Idemu police station close to pipeline in Lagos and other stations around just raid our area in a bid to extort money from us. they raid and say they are looking for criminals but they use the opportunity to extort money from all those in their raid operations whether you have committed a crime or not. Today they have done it again an have extorted N5000 from us again. This has to stop.

Detail: i had gone to bail a friend that was detained becos he and his girl friend had a fight and the lady went to report him to the police at ojokoro police station. when i when to apply for he bail i was asked to pay 10000 or he would be taken to court on Monday i had to raise 7000 and give them before he was released on bail to me.
