Detail: It was on the 31/12/2012, at about 1400hrs, I had gone to the Police "E" divisional headquarter, in Zango Area, off Royal valley estate rd, to document an Affidavit sworn in respect of my lost wallet, with my Police warrant card, Skye bank ATM card, and some passport photograph of me in uniform, all in the said wallet. I introduced myself at the charge room as a mobile police NCO, and presented my sworn Affidavit to the desk NCO, but was told to go to their Admin' dep't for an extract of Police e

Detail: My office ID Card was stolen and I was told to get a police report so I could apply for a new ID card. On getting to the police station at Ebute Ero the policemen on duty told me they had no paper for the report and that I should pay N2000 before I could get any report from them. I refused to pay the money and left the station.

Detail: My younger brother wrote JAMB last year but he didn't gain admission into the university that he wanted to enter. He got admission into a Polytechnic but he prefers to go to College of Education. He called me and told me that a man said if he pays N15,000, he will help him get the admission into College of Education in Katsina. I had already arranged to meet with the man but I was advised that I shouldn't pay the bribe to the man since there will be no way of knowing for sure whether my brother will gain admission or not.

Detail: I read on a Nigerian forum that the National Maritime Security Agency are recruiting so I called the number posted there and they told me to pay N2000 for the registration form and to come to Benin after paying that to pick up the form and pay another N50000 before I can go to training camp

Detail: I heard about job opportunities/recruitment from National Taskforce and I was trying to find out more details and a friend of mine told me that they have started their training in Kaduna. I asked him how I could apply for the job and he told me that the form costs N2,000 but the application cost N150,000. I made enquiries from other sources and was advised that the govt agencies/parastatals are not supposed to collect that kind of money for job application so I refused to pay it.
