Detail: My elderly uncle and his son were arrested by the police and were locked up for a case that had been pending since 2009. On the evening of the first day I brought food for my uncle but the police officer on duty refused to allow me give it to him unless I gave them N500 which I did. The following day I got a barrister to help me with securing their release and the officers at the station were not helping him by telling him that that the case files were with different people and wasting his time. By evening, my uncle told me that he couldn't spend another day in the cell and ask that I do whatever I can to get him out. I went and pleaded with the officers on duty to help me and they told me to go and get N50000 each for my uncle and his son. After much begging they lowered the money to N40,000 only becuase of my uncle's health, I agreed and I got the barrister to witness this agreement. I left the station to raise the money and paid it to officer and the made me sign a document saying that no money was collected for bail when we all knew it was a lie
