Bribe over tinted glass

Date Paid: 11-4-2013 09:22:02 | City: Abuja Municipal
Date Reported: 2013-04-12 04:27:03 | Department: Police Formation and Command

Office/Company: POLICE FORMATIONS AND COMMAND
Transaction: Property Seizure or Recovery
Bribe Type: Corporate
Detail: I was pulled over by the police at a checkpoint close to Amigo Supermarket in Wuse II because my car had tinted windows. I explained to them that the windows were factory fitted but they refused to listen to me and threatened to seize the car and force me to pay N30,000 for a permit. They gave me the option of 'settling' them and I ended up giving them N2000 because I was seriously pressed for time
